ABOUT SHEILA MANN
Sheila Mann has studied at New York's Museum of Modern Art and The New York School of Design. She renders in all media on a broad range of subject matter.
Primarily a fine artist working in oil, watercolor and colored pencil, Sheila is also an accomplished muralist and illustrator. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and shows throughout New Jersey and Delaware, as well as at Lincoln Center in New York City. Several of her works of art have been selected for inclusion in the book, THROUGH THE EYES OF WOMEN OF THE 20TH CENTURY.
She was president of the Suburban Artists Guild of East Brunswick, NJ for ten years, and is currently a member of the Dover Art League in Delaware.
Sheila gives private art lessons to children and adults in her home studio, and is available to paint requested subject matter on commission.

PHILOSOPHY
"My basic philosophy is that art exists everywhere, and it is the task of the artist to capture forever what might otherwise be fleeting. Art is also a way to express feelings that are not easily spoken."
